morning 3 is definitely the most painful so far. I literally refuse to look in my throat. Got relatively no sleep last night and woke up nauseous. I most likely won't be eating or moving today. I do however plan to drink lots of water. Pain is clearly getting worse, almost as bad as I first thought it would be.
*night of day 3. it is almost day 4 (12 am) and yes I am in pain. But I just found out that the doctor also performed an adenoidectomy (removing lumps of immune tissue in throat behind nose), this clears the airways to make breathing easier. my nose bridge is now muuch narrower, I can visibly see the difference just looking at my face in the mirror. My face is less swollen because the enlarged adenoids have been removed. I no longer snore, and my asthma is actually a misdiagnosis based on the fact that the enlarged tissue was restricting airflow through my throat. My allergies, puffy eyes, congestion and reddened face is no longer present. Breathing feels so much better, and Honestly I used to always think my nose was too wide for my face and now it looks great. I had no idea that they were even going to remove my adenoids. Honestly getting this tonsillectomy has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I wish I'd gotten it sooner.
also due to the fact that I can barley eat anything I am losing weight quickly and my family has pointed out that my face looks thinner. :) Ive been getting so many flowers too! Im so happy.
